Rev. Karen Winkel
When: Sunday, May 26, 2024
Time: 11:00 am
Where: Ute Indian Museum
Bring: Potluck dish to share

We cordially invite all members and friends to a special service of remembrance and release for Rev. Karen Winkel, who resigned from her position at our church in March to care for her aging mother.

Karen was a founding member of Community Spirit Church. She has dedicated herself to serving our community for over ten years, and we are grateful for her efforts.

The service will take place on Sunday, May 26th, at 11:00 AM in the Chipeta Room at the Ute Indian Museum, located at 17253 Chipeta Road, Montrose. This will be an opportunity to honor Pastor Karen’s contributions to our church and say goodbye as she moves on to new possibilities.

During the service, members of the church will be given the opportunity to speak of how Pastor Karen’s ministry has impacted them, and we will reflect on the moments we have shared with her.

We will also have a time of prayer and meditation to release any concerns or worries we may have as we move forward without her. This will be followed by a potluck, a time for us to share memories and express our gratitude for Pastor Karen’s leadership. We warmly invite all members and friends of Community Spirit Church to attend and actively participate in this special event.

We deeply appreciate Pastor Karen’s service to our church and wish her all the best in her future endeavors. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers as she begins this new chapter in her life.
