All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit! (Acts 2.4)Pentecost is seen as a time to celebrate the presence and power of the Holy Spirit in the lives our church community. It’s a reminder that the Holy Spirit continues to guide, inspire, and sustain us and our mission of “Changing the world for good!”

Pentecost Sunday also represents the birth of Community Spirit Church. It began on May 1, 2013, and continues to this day. Each year, our congregation comes together to celebrate another year of “changing the world for good” and everyone is invited to “covenant” or commit to being a member (or friend) of CSC for the coming year. (Unlike many churches, we do not maintain our membership in perpetuity but renew our commitment each year.)

We hope that you will be a part of this meaningful celebration!

Be sure to wear fire colors: red, yellow, and orange!

UPDATE: Because Pentecost fell on Memorial Day weekend this year, several of our members were out of town. If you missed the opportunity to declare yourself as an official member or friend of Community Spirit Church for 2026-2027, please download your covenant promises card.
