In an exciting change to enhance our “extravagant welcome”, Community Spirit Church is shifting its fellowship and worship times. Beginning on Sunday, April 12th, coffee and refreshments will be served at 11:00 AM, followed by the worship service at 11:30 AM. The congregation unanimously approved this change at our annual meeting in January.
Our new schedule strives to allow visitors to meet and engage with one another before the service begins, fostering a warm, more welcoming environment for all. In addition, this adjustment allows Rev. Wendy to have more time to travel from the service at Hillcrest UCC, ensuring that she can more fully participate in the worship experience at our church.
We will continue setting up the worship area and refreshments starting at 10:30 AM each Sunday. If you can come early or spare a few moments after the service to help put things away, it will be appreciated.
We encourage all members and visitors to join us for fellowship and worship as we embrace this new schedule. We look forward to seeing everyone there!
